This is KO Racing's version of the Link plug and play adapter board we wished Link made themselves for the 3SGTE MR2 and Celica applications. More inputs and outputs, more of the factory features supported (like ELS input, power steering cut, etc.), and integrated sensors. Additionally, we have made a single plug and play adapter board that utilizes jumpers that can allow this same board to work on early V1 Gen2, later V2 Gen2, and V3 Gen3 applications. Additional modifications and refinement allows the latest revision to support late 90's 5SFE applications that share this same connector pinout. Moving 1 pin allows this unit to be plug and play on the 4AGE Blacktop as well. On the expansion of these adapter boards is also exposed the Aux 9 and 10 outputs for those wanting to wire in a drive-by-wire or e-throttle body.

Beyond being a basic pinout and connector interface to allow the option to "plug and play" with the Link ecu, we have gone a step further by integrating the necessary design features to allow to add an on-board 4 or 7 bar map sensor and on-board wideband with ecu programmable on/off control. Using these options can cut down on installation complexity, and time dramatically. Installation can become as simple as running a wideband sensor and cable to the ecu, and running a vacuum line to the ecu from the intake manifold. Plug in your USB cable, plug in the ecu into the car and start tuning.

NOTE: We strongly recommend adding a fuel pressure sensor to all Link ECU installations to take advantage of fuel pressure compensation features offered by the Link ECU. Get one here.

NOTE: To eliminate the MAF, an air temp sensor will be required to be installed. Get one here.
NOTE: We also offer a MAT plate for gen2 applications to put the GM 3/8 NPT style air temp sensor in the stock cold start injector location. Get one here.

Features:

  • Fully compatible with Link G4+ and G4x plug in ecu controller top boards
  • Has 3 x 10 pin expansion connectors with screw terminal connection requiring no special harnesses to add sensors or add optional input or output devices including drive by wire or e-throttle bodies.
  • 7 bar on board map sensor for up to 87psi boost
  • Auxiliary positive power output available on pin B19 or expansion controlled by Aux 6 output (pwm-able 12v output) to power low current (3A max) devices on demand, or trigger the positive terminal of relays.
  • Optional: 14point7.com Spartan2 OEM LSU4.9 On board Wideband
  • Directly bolts into the 3SGTE Toyota engine control unit case (select the appropriate version for your application).
    • Early versions are V1 for a Gen 2 3SGTE equipped 1990-1992 MR2 and 1990-1991 Celica NOT including RC edition.
    • Next versions are V2 for a Gen 2 3SGTE equipped 1992-1995 MR2 and 1992-1993 Celica (including 1991 RC edition Celica).
    • The last version are V3 for a Gen 3 3SGTE equipped 1994-1999 MR2 and Celica.
  • All boards allow for coil per cylinder to be custom wired in and utilized if so desired via the extra expansions on board.

    NOTE: Price does *NOT* include a Link Plug-In ecu control board or ECU Case, but will include the cost of a base startup calibration with the proper inputs and outputs set up for a stock vehicle. The base calibration is intended only to get the vehicle started and running in stock configuration. Tuning by an experienced tuner will be required or possible serious engine damage could occur.

    NOTE: This product is intended for tuning manual transmission vehicles and includes no provisions for automatic transmission control.

    NOTE: ECU case not included with Adapter Board purchase. You must reuse and modify your OEM ECU case to allow for wiring to pass through the case.

    NOTE: This is *NOT* a LINK ECU tested, verified, and warranted product. Use of this product may void your warranty with Link, and give them grounds to refuse any support. Purchase of this product constitutes your consent with, and understanding of these statements. This is a custom adapter product that can make use of a Link plug-in product. Please let KO Racing know if you have any questions or concerns, or require any support for our adapter board, as Link will not support you when using this product.
